Peds Asthma Orders
Have been updated to include age parameters for the inhaled steroids on the discharge Rxs — found in the Peds Asthma powerplan or in the commonly used ER prescriptions: Ped — Asthma. The Rxs are also added to the ED PED Asthma powerplan, which includes a link to refer to the Peds Asthma clinic.
Breastfeeding Following CT Contrast
Is safe to continue — ask Lorraine or Allison! Attached is the WRHN info pamphlet that is given to patients for your reference.
Plastics / Hand
Please don't refer to them if they're not on call. Dr Atiyah recently reached out stating our staff are sending him urgent referrals when he is not on call. These referrals will be declined and sent back to you. Please refer to HULC if your patient qualifies. Peds patients still need to present to tertiary care for next arrangements.
Code OB
See the attached information regarding the new Code Obstetrics — meant to rapidly mobilize OB and peds teams starting June 1st. There will be some mock codes prior to this date.

Social Event — Archery Afternoon

Funded by the hospital foundation. A relaxed session of archery — no experience necessary. All equipment and instruction provided. Light refreshments and a charcuterie spread available.
