Current indications for emergent (overnight) Ultrasound
- Intussusception
- Testicular torsion
- Ectopic Pregnancy for unstable patients
- Pediatric Appendix for unstable patients
- Pregnancy appendix
- Ovarian torsion
Breast ultrasounds are only done through emergency to rule out abscess. All other breast imaging must be referred to Chicopee on an outpatient basis.
We only rule out biceps' tendon, quad tendon and Achilles tendon tear through emergency. All other MSK exams must be done as an outpatient.
